Top 10 Reasons

Homes built with light steel framing represent the future of construction. They are superior to traditional methods and fall into the category of eco-friendly housing since steel is 100% recyclable, with a large share coming from recycled materials.

”We save forests by building structures!”

Steel-frame homes come with many advantages. Here are the 10 most important😊

1. Shorter Construction Time

The steel profiles are pre-assembled in our factory, properly labeled, and quickly installed on site using special fasteners. This reduces execution time significantly compared to traditional methods.

In general, a steel-frame house can be erected in one week and fully finished (turnkey) in 1.5 to 4 months, depending on design complexity and materials.

2. Superior thermal insulation

EvoBuild homes achieve excellent insulation values. Heat loss is considerably lower compared to brick houses, as demonstrated in independent studies.

3. Excellent Sound Insulation

For acoustic insulation, we offer two main options:

Both provide outstanding results for comfort and noise reduction.

4. Increased usable Space

Steel-frame homes offer around 10% more usable interior space compared to traditional structures.

Example: For a 130 m² house, the usable floor area is 113 m² with a steel frame, versus only 101 m² with a conventional build.

5. High Seismic Resistance

EvoBuild houses are highly resilient to natural disasters and resistant to pests, lightning, and strong winds.

In terms of earthquakes, scientific testing shows resilience at 0.4g (equivalent to 9.8 on the Richter scale). For reference, the devastating 1977 earthquake in Romania would not have caused structural damage to EvoBuild homes—the steel frame shifts minimally under seismic stress.

6. Perfectly straight walls

Thanks to precision engineering, we deliver millimeter accuracy—ensuring flat, smooth walls and perfect 90° angles.

This is achieved without bulky beams or intrusive columns, even on large spans, preserving your home’s architectural design.

7.  Reduced Foundation Requirements

Steel structures require a smaller foundation in comparison to other systems. For example, steel-frame structures are up to 50–60% lighter than timber structures, requiring smaller, less expensive foundations.

This translates directly into lower construction costs.

8. Minimal Material Waste

One major advantage is the extremely low material waste. Since all elements are factory-calculated and pre-engineered, waste is negligible.

For example:

  • Steel waste: ~2%
  • Timber waste: ~20%

Smaller, lighter foundations also reduce material usage and overall cost.

9. All-Season Assembly

Unlike conventional methods, steel structures can be assembled year-round, regardless of weather conditions.

Traditional materials (such as concrete) require higher temperatures for curing, making cold-season construction difficult or impossible.

10. Outstanding Quality-to-Price Ratio

Finally, EvoBuild homes offer exceptional long-term durability—steel can last up to 150 years—with an excellent quality-to-cost ratio
